Does anyone have a link(s) to mlb draft websites. I was fortunate enough to do play by play down the cape in the summer of 2005 and would love to see where some of these prospects rank. Hoping the Sox draft Tim Lincecum (RHP- U of Washington) who would add to the great youth pitching movement in Boston. Thanks for your help in advance.

For those of you who care, this yr's MLB draft is being considered one of the weakest drafts in recent memory. Most of the big prospects are underclassmen in college and not eligible for the draft. As for high schoolers, this class doesnt have a Delmon Young or Justin Upton, hence the 1 pick this yr might have been a late first round pick last yr. Last yr's draft and the draft before that were considered 2 of the strongest top to bottom in the history of the draft....

The number #1 Pick will be Andrew Miller out of North Carolina the tall lefthander. If the Royals don't take him I will be shocked.

He'll fall to the bottom half of the first round and will get picked up by the Yankees :D

If the Royals don't take him he won't last past the second pick either. There is no chance in hell that Miller slips to the Yankees or the Red Sox. Hes that good of a pitcher.

Nope, he's gonna get taken by the Yankees

Max Scherzer out of Missouri is an excellent pitcher. His fastball is electric and is upwards of 99 MPH. But I don't think he goes number 1 and it has nothing to do with talent. He did hurt his finger this year and has only pitched in 6 games thus likely dropping him a bit plus since he is represented by Scott Boras he is also likely to slip as well over signability concerns.

Sounds like another Hansen situation to me, I'll take him.

I do believe we have a higher pick than you guys, so we shall see. I think our lone 1st rounder is from the phils and is a higher pick than the 3 you guys have....

He might slip but likely won't slip to Boston or the Yankees. Don't know if he is looking for a major league contract but I wouldn't be shocked if he does since Boras clients tend to seek major league deals at times.

I saw Miller pitch twice down the Cape and there were a ton of scouts present. He has a great heater but a knee buckling curve than seems better when you throw in the 90's. He reminds me of R.J with better control early on.

Anyone know anything about that kid from Norte Dame? He also plays college football. I believe his name is Jeff Sazrach..... He's a potential 1st round pick in both drafts.

Jeff Samardzija is a two sport athlete at ND. Hes a righthanded pitcher with a big frame 6'5 215. So far on the season he is 5-1 with a 3.83 era. Samardzija I believe is better football player than he is a baseball player. He is a pro prospect in both sports but he is a better receiver than he is a pitcher and is likely to go to the NFL.

that kid is unbelieveable. If he drops to pick 27, the Sox better take him. Hansen was supposed to be a top 5 pick last year, but because of boras, he fell down to the late first round. Hopefully the same thing happens with Scherzer.

The diffrenece between the two is Hansen is a reliever and Scherzer is starter. No chance he drops to the sox even with Boras is his agent.
