I am new to the forum. Wanted to post on a decent Sox site, It looks promising on here. I became a Sox fan in 99 when I met my wife(Mass native). I had previously been a Braves fan due to living in AAA Richmond and my Dad followed the Braves. Eventually Soccer (thus the handle) came back as the glue in oursporting lives and I grew to detest the Braves and their always winning the NL East flag despite their terrible trades. Saw my first game at Fenway in 01 and moved here in 04. I had always had a soft spot for Boston so it was an easy move.

The handle describes my fandom to the Bolton Wanderers (Soccer) whose nickname are the trotters. I was born in England but have lived almost all of my life in the states. Thus americantrotter.

I hope I havent made a pathetic first post. I'll try to lurk more than spam.
