Jsinger. You are a f***ing idiot. Please dont say ludicrous things like that ever again, especially without a source.

Michael Holley is more of a source than you are. I'll listen to him because of his ties that he has in the NFL.

Edinger was in Foxboro this afternoon before they even knew about the Vinatieri signing. They also have reportedly contacted Vanderjagt's agent.

I'd like to say something to those that are complaining about the Pats FO. As a Redskins fan I've seen folly after folly ever since Bobby Bethard split town and headed back to San Diego. That man could build a football team, and this current Pats FO can too. Appreciate that. What they have done is nothing short of spectacular when you consider the obstacles that the salary cap and free agency place in front of teams trying to stay on top. Just my 2 cents.

Edinger has kicked outdoors in Chicago. I would look at him before vanderjerk.

the guy id like to see come in next year and kick is Stephen Gostkowski, kicker out of Memphis. I was watching some college kickers challenge on ESPN in January and Gostkowski won the accuracy challenge and the distance challenge over all the other top kickers in the country. He looked really good to me. Hes also a pitcher in the Tigers minor league system

Patriots re-signed CB Chad Scott.

So that's who they are saving their cap space for. Scott, a former Steeler who earned significant playing time last September before getting hurt, will battle just to earn a roster spot. Mar. 22 - 9:20 pm et

From the best clutch kicker in the league to the Arod of kicking. I love it!

I'm hoping they go with Edinger. I remember last year as a Viking he hit a 56 yard field goal to beat the Packers as time expired. That kick was indoors but to hit a field goal of that length when your season is on the line is pretty clutch. Now I'm not saying he's as good as Adam but he is a suitable alternative.

Edinger also spent 5 or 6 seasons with the Bears kicking in cold conditions. He would be the number 1 choice to replace Adam.

WEEI in Boston's Michael Holley reports that Troy Brown will re-sign with the Patriots. Don't throw away those #80 jerseys just yet. New England is so thin at wideout, Brown could still have a sizeable role as a reserve receiver.

Good to know Troy is still going to be around

The deal Ashworth got from the Seahawks was a five-year, $13 million deal. Ashworth will receive $4.5 million in the first year in a combination of bonuses and salary. Thats alittle too pricey for a guy that I believe would have been a backup this year.
