Why didnt they Sucide Squeeze????

Ive been thinkin bout ti all nite in the 6th they had bases loaded no outs so they had 2 oppurtunites to do this and u would neva expect them to bunt cause the red sox never bunt so this would of been a good move to tie the game up. you had varitek the pinch hitter or graffanino two good runners. does anybody agree with this y didnt he do it i dont understand it...

Because that's the ChiSox philosophy on the game. They would expect it and find a way to stop it. We on the other hand only needed a base hit, or a sac fly. We got NEITHER. And this team doesn't bunt at all it seems. Messing up a bunt in the playoffs isn't the best time to do so.

i know thas how the chisox play but i dont think they were gonna expect from us, specially a pinch hitter varitek. (like the ortiz bunt a month ago)

The Ortiz bunt was done with the shift on. And Tek bunting isn't the greatest thing. I just don't see this team suicide squeezing.

Because all we needed was a flyball. The odds of us not scoring were slim, no need to put a risky play on that we haven't done all season.

You can't say what if's the fact is they couldn't get it done they had the bases loaded with no outs and couldn't get anyone in.

We dont do it all season, we didnt do it last season. Why all of the sudden would we do it, now? With the power Papi has I dont want to see him bunt anyway.
