The Chicago White Sox have clinched the Central with their win against Detroit this afternoon. Question now is, will Chicago still give up a fight against the Guardians this wknd? time will tell starting tomorrow

 

No because White Sox will be resting their veterans to be ready for the playoffs and Guardians will be playing for the wc. I'm sure white sox would rather face Guardians than yanks/redsox in playoffs anyway.

I think the White Sox have to give Cleveland their all.

 

If they go into postseason as losers of 3 straight after their god-awful second half of the season, they're pretty much done for.

 

It's not always the best team that wins, it's the hottest... and the White Sox have been anything but hot.

 

That said, I'd rather see Cleveland make the playoffs.

 

But, as a Sox fan, I can honestly say that the Yankees and Guardians, in my opinion, are the two teams that deserve to get in. The Sox, postseason or not, have some changes they need to make in the offseason.

I'm sorry my Orioles couldn't do better against the Yankees, I'd have loved to knock them out of the playoffs. But once again money talks.
