September 27th vs. Toronto

a big plus is that at least we were not beat as bad the yankees were. their bullpen gave up 12 runs, final score 17-9

Truthfully, there is NO plus side to this loss. Harville sucked at the end. Schilling lost his stuff sooner than I thought he would. We missed GIANT opportunities in terms of having a better record than the Guardians, AND taking a 1 game lead over the Yanks, which is imperative to have going into the final series of the season.

 

We better gear right back up, and take the remaining games from this team. I can pretty much GUARANTEE that the Yankees will not have another gross game like this with the Orioles.

you never know, i was guaranteed myself that the orioes would be a 4 game sweep especially with Mussina on the mound I thought he'd like pitch a gem

The only upside to the loss is that the Yankees and Cleveland both lost. The Sox really need to beat the Jays and hope the Orioles can continue to beat up on the Yankees.
