I just got back from dropping my daughter off at her grandmother's house. Looks like we exploded for another big inning. :D

Crap Jays loose to New York now the Sox and Yanks are still tied for the A.L East. And we got the Jays next let's hope we can do what the Yankees did to them.

Good game for the Sox that first inning was scary looked like the lead was gonna be blown but Wells gave up the 2 runs then settled down to pitch a great game. Thought Edgar was gonna have number 7 on the year but he got robbed. At least we kept pace with the Yankees and stayed close to the Guardians for the Wild Card. Now we have an important series against the Jays let's hope we can win this series and have some momentum going into the weekend series with the Yankees. Either way this is going to be the most exciting week of my life.

best pitching: Wells settled down after back to back homeruns, very fitting for his 14th win of the season, went a good distance for the bullpen to be used less and is sure to be a big gamer for Game against Yanks on Friday ;)---The two Chads, Bradford and Harville blanked the O's combining for 2.1 innings of relief giving up 1 hit, and harville struck out the last batter to end the game

best offense: Manny with his 41st shot, hes back with a vengeance and will be a force from now through hopefully into late October. Damon is starting to come back by connecting with his 10th homerun (1st since late August). Edgar has been making great contact as of late, robbed of a 3 run homer that wouldve been his eighth of the season. His triple that was botched off of the outfielder's glove, if he had not tried to attempt to catch the ball it wouldve been another HR. Trot, Tek, and Mueller are also getting back to stride.

best defense: Bill Mueller had such an outstanding series with many barehanded accurate throws, keeps on this course and he's a viable and worthy candidate to win the 3rd base gold glover of 2005. Wells also handily turned an inning ending double play. most especially rent has really settle down, and you can see he's not rushing anymore as first he sets his feet before he throws the ball
