Duh, I think Yankee fans know best "it aint over till its over", to quote Yogi :D

what was the atmosphere like tonight? I wanted to be there so bad, I had even called my scalper and told him to hold a ticket for me...damn ear infection :(

Amazing! So many sories lol. It was a full house and it was so energetic. Like the fifth inning we all did the wave on every level and it went around like 5 times, haven't really been a part of anything like that before. There was a Boston fan who was like walking around the entire stadium and his friends were yankee fans of course bringing attention to him (must have lost a bet or something) so he got like beer thrown on him, crumpled up napkins and what not lol. The fans around me were awesome and we were near the road trippers (tier seats, but still great to be in Yankee Stadium) so it was all around a really great atmosphere. :D

Wonderful class. Sounds like the class-less scumbags in Detroit. :thumbdown

 What do you expect when you shout that Arod sucks and Jeter swallows and try to say "papi" is gonna win MVP and the Red Sox are the new dynasty team for the next century. I mean please, this is New York with some pretty heafty attitudes. Don't be a loud mouth about it. There was one other guy wearing a Boston hat but nothing happened to him...three guesses why. He kept his mouth shut. Good Boston fan.

Please, please, please do not gloat. We are only a half game up and we could be tied for first tommorow. So I emplore you please do not gloat.

Any Yankee who would gloat should be slapped in the face. There's 11 games left.

Oh, the irony...

I would NEVER toss beer on someone. Words and actions are MUCH different. Yankee fans talk LOADS too pinstrpie_pride, as if you don't know, and Sox fans have heard it for a LONG time. Throwing beer on people is way low. :thumbdown

I guess Sox fans only toss beer on the Yankee players.

No. Yankee players who are "grown men" knock innocent bystanders' beer over while lunging at another fan whose hand's path intersected with said player's face's path while reaching for a ball.

F#cking crybaby bitches.

3/4 of the attendees of any given game between any two teams in any stadium on any day are TOURISTS. You freakin crybaby bitches will be cowering in a fetal position in 5 or 6 years when all the zipperheads jump off the bandwagon and the Yankees fans are outnumbered by Red Sox fans in Yankee stadium.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I said "I Would never toss beer..." I was NOT representing all Sox fans, or any at all for that matter. I said me and thats what I meant and I am enitiled to my opinions. The Sheffoids incident was weird, I couldn't come to a conclusion of accident or intent. People are morons, every team has them, but I meant myself you troll.

And I never said you tossed beer at anyone. I used the generalzation of "Sox fans" not you. Don't throw a fit.

P.S. Who's this Sheffoids fella, never heard of him?

And I used a generalization of Yankee fans and you said that about the sox fan and sheff. I hope you would throw beer either.

Until Manny or Nixon is pelted with beer, it is an unfair genralization, because it is without factual basis.

Chances are they accidentally spilled their precious beer on the dude.

Or Arod knocked it out of their hands.

I guess they're not such bad people after all then.

Posted
Well, Manny and Trot aren't inclined to steroid-induced fits of rage. I don't think we'll be seeing either of them lunging over a wall at a guest any time in the near future.

No one on the Yankees lunged over the wall at a "guest" (what is this a hotel?) either.

I'll give you that, its true we will never REALLY know. On that note, there are idiot fans with both teams (and obviously that group was not what I, or many people would call smart or intelligent) and they give teams bad reps. Now I was not there (Yankee Stadium) but thats not a good representation of Yankee fans. Nor is the Sheff incident a good representation of Sox fans.
