tough news here, Damon has flown back to Boston for an MRI and will not come back for last 2 games of Toronto, his next game back might be Game 1 against the A's. Look for Gabe to play some center until then, hopefully his hitting gets better...

The bullpen wasn't too great last night they have a 5-0 lead and blow it. Timlin who is usually consistent didn't have a great couple of innings. But thankfully Big Papi got them outta it with a solo shot that evetually helped them win. I dunno if it's just me but I like the looks of Papelbon so far why not start him now seeing as how we need all the help we can get going into the playoffs.

thing is you this season, even if with 2 outs you never ever start Timlin off when there are men on base because he will let them score. He has the highest ratio for a reliever in the major leagues, allowing 17 of 31 inherited runners to score. Tito said his plan was to have foulke take care of the lefties and timlin the righties. Tito isnt that Myers and Bradford's bullpen duties??

 

Right now as its looking like Id have Foulke and Papelbon share 7th/8th inning set up duties and start Timlin off in the 9th
