Arroyo tackles Angels amid afterglow

The Red Sox, riding the momentum of David Ortiz's latest walk-off homer, will try to take another one from the Angels when Bronson Arroyo takes the mound on Wednesday night.

 

The Angels counter with Ervin Santana, the rookie right-hander who stifled the Boston bats in a 4-2 win on Aug. 20.

 

The Red Sox lead the Yankees by four games in the American League East, the first time they've had a margin that large since Aug. 21.

Santana is throwing a LOT of curveballs for strikes, last time he threw mostly fastballs, the sox will pick up on this score runs here and there, but Arroyo needs to keep us in the game.

It's certainly no secret, I think alot of scouts from other teams are watching how much trouble the Sox seem to have with off speed/breaking ball pitchers.
