Red Sox look to return to form

Baltimore (64-70) at Boston (78-55), 7:05 p.m. ET

Coming off a rare loss at Fenway Park, the Red Sox will try to return to form on Saturday night, when right-hander Matt Clement takes the ball against the Orioles.

Clement has pitched well in his past four starts after going through some struggles following the All-Star break.

The Boston bats, which have been prolific of late, were held to just four hits in Friday's loss. They'll try to regroup in this one.

Pitching matchup

BAL: LHP Erik Bedard

Bedard was good, but not lately. Clement is a grab bag. If the O's start piling on the hits, he wont be around for long.

Could be a slugfest, could be a pitchers duel.

I don't understand how the alittle-worse-than-average Baltimore pitching staff looks like the 60's era Dodgers against us every time.

eh. Erik bedard isnt that bad a pitcher.

Isn't that good either. Neither was that rookie last night, Maine. Nor is Rodrigo Lopez. And Bruce Chen doesn't scare anyone. But they all come out smelling like roses against us.

HBP, PB, WP, SF....1-0, comical.

Look's like he caught it and was flipping it with the glove to his throwing hand. Tough call though.

EDIT: Just found it, had to use it....
