Green Monster Tickets

Looking to buy tickets to a game this weekend. My husband and young boys are avid Sox fans and I am in the process of searching for and purchasing tickets for a game this weekend - hopefully Sunday's game. My boys are 6 & 10 and would be thrilled to sit in the Green Monster area. I have seen lots of tix online for sale and somewhat undersand the 'codes' such as G30 is Grandstand 30?, BLCH is obviously bleachers - My QUESTION = If I wanted to search for Green Monster Tix what is the code to look for? Is the Grn Monster all SRO?

You have no chance, unless you can find some on Ebay, that will cost you at least 5 large though.

Might not have a chance but for the future - do you know how I search for them (G30, BLCHR10 etc)?

The Green Monster seats retail avg. is $100 and more for the big games. The tickets are bought through a lottery system. You submit an entry, if you win you then get a chance to purchase tickets within a short amount of time (minutes). I beleive you have to purchase them with your credit card and your name is saved on the Red Sox computers. If you sell the tickets and the people act like morons you can have your credit card and name black listed.

 

I do have to say however that sitting up on the green monster during a game is a must at least once in your life. When I sat up there during a game early this season I had the best time ever at a red sox game.

Oh you mean later on, ok then you have to enter the lottery in the preseason and pry you hit. I was lucky enough to hit twice gone 2 years in a row.

Ya my cousin hit twice as well. I could only go to one game though. $100 to see PITT, but it was worth it (plus parking, food, beer, ect)!

I would be able to pay $100+ for the tickets if available and cold pay via credit card immediately. Can you direct me to a site ofr do I do a Google search for Green Monster auctions?????? Boy, am I a rookie, Thanks to all for any help.
