For what it's worth: Gammons on ESPN Insider writes he expects the Sox to re-sign Mueller and Olerud and use Youk at both 3b and 1b.

trust me Youk at the least wont be a backup again, he doesnt deserve that after this season being moved up and down. Olerud will be what he was this year, a reserve player on the bench considering his bad legs. I would be very happy if they resign Olerud and Mueller

I think they should give Youk a starting job at either 3rd or 1st either one. His to loose. I'd say 1st , so that occassionally he can make a spot start at third and give Mueller a rest and allow Olerud a spot start or two.
