Pedro's No-no

I went to the game today. Pedro almost had the no-no, only to lose it on Antonio Perez's 3B and Jayson Werth's 2-run HR in the 8th inning. That means the Dodgers won on just 2 hits (Mets with 10 hits). Damn, I thought I was gonna see a no-hitter in person, but a win for your team is much, much better.

Pedro is cursed. I bet if somebody compiled the stats they'd find that Pedro has more 1-0,2-0, and 2-1 losses than any other pitcher in history.

 

Who else could get 17 strikeouts and have to eat a loss.

like the admin said, he pitched an unofficial perfect game. it was when he was with the expos. it was broken up/loss in the 10th by his reliever.

Well I for 1 was giddy with joy that dodger win. I'm glad the ingrate got what was coming to him and not only lost his no-hitter, but also lost the game. MUAHAHAHAH :harhar:

Oh come on Pedro was a God here, he did more for the team than almost anyone.

Oh I'll give credit where credit is due, but he always complained the loudest the second he felt he was being disrespected. While it wasn't a secret he was not going to be brought back for what he was asking for (only decent investment by Mets ridiculously overspending this past offseason) he could have left with a bit more class and thanked the organization that helped him win his only championship instead of smacking them.
