With the Sox magic number currently at 45. Factor in their current schedule, opponents schedule, DL's coming back, and talent in minor leagues, we are going to win the Division. It's just a question of when. I'm taking a somewhat educated quess / stab at Sept. 17th.

They have a series with Texas, a team they can beat, and the Red Sox have a series against the best team in baseball whose pitching can calm Red Sox bats. The next five Yankee series are not relatively hard either.

They have a series with Texas, a team they can beat, and the Red Sox have a series against the best team in baseball whose pitching can calm Red Sox bats. The Yankee pitching was great in that series, giving up only 3, 2 and 2 runs. Also, the Yanks should have won the game in extra's because the Ump made a s*** call on what would have been, and should have been, the winning run of the game. Yet again an Ump screwed the Yanks. The Yanks lost a series to the DRays when they were stinking up the joint. I'm fully confident that the Yanks will be able to win a series against them now. And please, do you honestly think the Royals will sweep the Yanks again??

 

And Moose is our ace, but Small and Chacon have been consistently giving the Yankees chances to win, Small went 3-0 in his first 3 starts and Chacon got 2 ND but the Yanks went on to win both games, in quite crazy fasion if I might add.

- the sox would beat the yanks 17-1 TWICE

- rj would suck

- pavano would suck

- pavano would want out of NY

- devil rAAAys would be leading the season series 7-3

- you would lose 2 out of 3 to the brewers

- moose (your "ace") would be inconsistent

get this ok, Sox have by far the best offense in the American League but also as of late for the current stretch of games in August--In the 5 game winning streak, the lowest ammount of runs Boston has scored was 8!! all in all outscoring opponents 55-33, averaging 11 runs a game in that stretch. In yankees stretch of last 5 games, they have outscored their opponents 20-19. Mark my words Sox will always find a way to rally to win, as shown many times before this
