with your logic dude, youd probably had wanted Sox to keep Alan Embree cuz he had such a great season last year as well including in the playoffs. Embree with his high ERA of 7.65 and so many blown saves to count was thankfully booted off, and dumb enough the yankees jumped to get him. and ya know what?? he blew a save for them now, 1 hit and hell of an error as he threw to first baseman for an out but it actually ended up in the stands, course yankees came back to win but doesnt matter. Im sorry but Bellhorn has go to work had when he comes back nect week, .216 batting average with 109 strikeouts and just 28 RBIs just isnt cutting it.

Get the Devil Rays.... trade edgar, tony graffinto, maybe 1 good prospect, and a middle reveiler for- Jorge Cantu- 2B/3B- 15 homers, 65+ RBIs, and .301 BA, Julio Lugo- SS- >.306 BA, 32 SBs- Danny Baez- 5-3, 21 Saves, 2 under ERA! :thumbsup: thats good.... and maybe for another prospect... try to get Scott Kazmir- 6-7, 106 K, and he's in his 2nd year.... Wow! Very impressive! Really you ought to be a real GM . . . for the Yankees. This is one of the silliest trades I've ever heard proposed. Scott Kazmir has the potential to be a Cy Young candidate and he only makes $316K and Cantu is a potential Rookie of the Year candidate who also makes under $400K. The Tampa Bay front office people would have to be drinking lead paint milk shakes to give them up. Lugo and Baez they might consider dealing but not for a player in the first year of a $40m dollar contract and a utility infielder whose ceiling is so low that Emmaneul Lewis would have to crawl to get under.

 

Beside Baez walks way too many people and has never pitched in a big market. His stats this year are an anomalie. Please go back to creating teams on your nintendo and stop mucking up the internet with silly proposals like this.

very true edgar is in fact in first season of a 4 season $40 million contract, D-Rays wouldnt be able at all to take on his contract. you do realize their salary cap is around $40 million?

I burst out laughing when I saw this trade because its absolutely ridiculous! If you think that the Rays are going to trade Cantu, Lugo, Baez or even Kazmir for Edgar, Graffinto, and a prospect then your INSANE! Even the Rays arn't that stupid!
