Any Word Yet on Johnny?

I heard NESN make the comment that he had to receive 4 stitches above his eye, but does anyone know the extent of the 'injury'? Hopefully he'll be in the lineup on Friday when I see my first Sox game at the Fens.

He did get stitches, and he's listed as day to day. Nowhere near as bad as when he and Damian Jackson nearly killed each other. He should be back soon, hope he feels better!

Yeah, I remember watching the concussion at the time it happened, it's painful just to see that footage again. I knew the Sox would take him out of the game, but I didn't think it looked as bad that he would need stitches.

Haha, I was actually thinking about that earlier. Damon cant catch any breaks this year, first the incident in Toronto earlier this year, then this. Whats next?

Wow, yeah, I had forgotten about that incident in Toronto. What can you say, he lays it all out on the line for the team. What happened in Toronto though was more of the fact that, that scoreboard sucks in every aspect. I don't know how people up there don't complain enough to have it changed.

He was on Sports Center earlier in the Year talking about how he forgets things and gets dizzy a lot because of what happend in Toronto and Oakland this can't be helping that.
