That is so utterly unoriginal. Boston Dirt Dogs posted the Red Sox version of that last August. But yes, I'd have to say the Yanks are officially in the rear view mirror after last year.

It is also stupid, because it says objects are closer then they appear, meaning they are actually far away. Don't you want to be closer to first place?

nope we are closer then we appear, since your now in jeopardy of losing two series to apparantly bad teams that you said we beat.

Yeah the red sox are slumping, no doubt, but so did the Yankees. They'll hit their stride soon and go on a tear like they did last year.

Sox win tonight, 7-5. Everyone knows the Yankees aren't THIS good...they're just in a winning streak. Soon enough, you'll go back to the way you played, and so will we.

Like I said the Devil Rays went on a 10 game win streak.. it happens this dosen't change anything I stand by my 86 win season prediction.

You've already had your streak before you went to the west coast

Sounds like your nervous. The Yankees ARE THIS good. Ya better just face the facts and learn to deal with it. Hell Giambi who's probably been struggling more then the Royals offense combined went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's and a homerun.

Everyone know the Yankees aren't this good. Why? Prior to this 10 game winning streak, you were 11-19...sounds EXACTLY like the D-Rays when they went on their run last year (sucked before the streak, sucked after it). The other way you can tell that the Yankees aren't this good is OBVIOUS, Seattle and Oakland are the two teams you've played.

Let me remind you, that once you get out of this pansy scheduling, you'll start losing again. Minus Kansas City, you have a fairly tough schedule coming up again in late May and all of June. Once you start playing teams like TAMPA BAY that have proven their superiority to you, you will fall flat on your faces...enjoy your winning, because even worthless teams who play bad for almost a month and a half have a winning streak eventually.

Ok, I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Yankees are the goddamn YANKEES people. The Yankees we saw in APRIL are not the Yankees we will see during and after the summer. The Yankees had too much talent to continue in their funk, and now they're gunna play much better for the rest of the year. You can't expect A-Rod, Jeter, RJ, Sheff, Godzilla, Moose, etc to keep playing s*****. These are TOP players in the MLB. So what if they keep spending money on old age players? The point is they get it done. I'm no Yankee fan, but my God, you all (well not all, most of you) make the Yankees sound so much worse than they are. They are the YANKEES. Yes, we will come out of our funk eventually, and the AL East is going right down to the wire between these teams. Yes, the east is no longer predictable like it once was, but the Yankees compete EVERY year. If they don't win the east, they will get the wild card. It sucks, but they are too good to miss out on the playoffs with that roster.

Curse me all you want, but just know that I'm thinking realistically. If you thought the Yankees were staying down there at the bottom of the East all year, you need to stop snorting that cocain.

Obviously, they will PROBABLY find a way into the postseason...most likely in the wild card spot, though. They'll get there, but they don't have the team chemistry like other teams do...they're just a bunch of 40 year olds stuck together to play, therefore I don't think they find a way to get past the ALDS, not this year.

I don't think they are going to be at the bottom they are gonna come in secong behind the Red SOx and they will not Snag the WC spot either I predicted 86 wins and no one's snorting cocain.

...and I'm praying you're right.

Yep two s***** teams that your Team lost the series to. You condridict yourself all the time. The thing is you went 2-4 on the West Coast swing to the same teams mind you that the Yanks are playing and we are looking to go 6-0. Tell me now who sucks right now. Face facts if the Yanks were playing better teams right now outcome would be the same. 11 game WINNING STREAK. Hell and your scheldule doesn't get any easier either. I predict Braves win the series at Fenway 2 games to one.

So you're saying that after the Sox suffer their first slump of the year, your team is better? So then your logic must be: having a 30 game slump and going 11-19 is better than having a 6 game slump and going 2-3? Dumbass.

P.S. Check our dominance over Oakland these last 3 years, then check the way we've played against the Mariners. Now compare it to what you have done against the two. Have you won 15 of the last 17 vs. the A's?

No matter what you say it just sounds like fear. You know the Yanks will catch up. It doesn't change the fact that the Sox lost two series to apprantly according to you suck teams you should have beat. You better watch out when the Sox play the Royals.I'm not saying we didin't struggle, we did all I'm saying is when the Yanks get on a roll early in the season they usually keep it up.

P.P.S. What's your next idiotic response going to be? I haven't gotten the full opportunity to laugh at this quote so here it goes.

You keep bringing up the records. Well I'll give ya that, because that's the onlt thing you can brag about at the moment

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! So let me get this straight? Despite the tied record, everyone knows DADDY has dominated the series this year, we MANHANDLED you last year during the regular season and postseason, we're sitting ahead of you in the standings...but other than that you are correct! We have nothing else to brag about.

yup and when you come to the STADIUM be prepared for the sweep.

Oh well we lost one. Guess ya can't win them all. But hey 5-1 west coast swing ain't to shabby. Going into Shae to beat the Mets. Maybe not a sweep, but we'll take the series. Thought I go ahead and post this before that texas guy bashes the Yanks for losing a game after 10 straight wins. 5-1 is still better than 2-4.

I hate the Yanks with all my heart, and I hope to God Pedro and the Mets whoop their asses. BUT, yes, the way the Sox are playing lately and with our pitching lately we aren't going to win games. The Yanks are hot right now, they got the hitting, the pitching (ok, with an exception to last night), and just everything going for them right now. Hopefully this day off will get us out of the funk. It's nice to come home and I'm goin to the game on Sunday so we better win. Does anyone know whos pitchin for the Braves on Sunday? I know it's Hudson on Friday...so what next?

Alright, I'll go along with your stats. The pitching the Yankees have faced over the last 11 games:

Pitcher: Joe Blanton (0-3) Team: Oakland Score: 5-0 W

Pitcher: Rich Harden (2-2) Team: Oakland Score: 6-0 W

Pitcher: Gil Meche (3-2) Team: Mariners Score: 4-3 W

Pitcher: Aaron Sele (2-4) Team: Mariners Score: 7-4 W

Pitcher: Jamie Moyer (4-1, 6.11 ERA) Team: Mariners Score: 13-9

Pitcher: Rich Harden (2-3) Team: Oakland Score: 9-4 W

Pitcher: Joe Blanton (0-4) Team: Oakland Score: 15-6 W

Pitcher: Danny Haren (1-5) Team: Oakland Score: 6-4 W

Pitcher: Aaron Sele (2-4) Team: Mariners Score: 6-3 W

Pitcher: Julio Mateo (1-1) Team: Mariners Score: 6-0 W

Pitcher: Jamie Moyer (4-1, 6.11 ERA) Team: Mariners Score: 7-6 L

There certainly aren't any Pedro Martinez's on that list. Hell, there aren't even any Byung-Hyun Kim's on that list. Congratulations, you were expected to win all those games easily and you did except the last one.
