any predictions on the final runs totals for each team this series. Right now after the 10-0 and 6-2 its a total of boston 16 TB 2. Im thinking 24 to 4 as a final tally. That will be a nice stat for Sportscenter to talk about. Now all we need is another good start from Wakebombs :thumbsup: . By the way Manny absolutely owned the starting pitcher last night - its good hes finally out of that slump

We'll probably put up 4 or 5 runs today....I think we win about 5-3. Kazmir was a very good pitcher in high school, and though this is the majors, I still think he pitches well today.

We aren't gonna score that many runs today, since Kazmir has beaten us in the past.

 

Manny snapped out of it last night, and before the game Remy hit the nail right on the head and predicted it. He showed a clip of a the first D-Ray's game, and compared a swing late in the game with one early in the game. Early, Manny brought his head up off of the ball and missed on a relatively ugly upper cut swing. Later, he kept his head down and drove the ball to center.

i just dont see kazmir pitching that great tonight. so far this season his ERA is 4.5 - and i know its early but hes still not pitching that great yet. plus this offense is on fire right now - renteria mashes leftys

Dude Kazmir wasn't that bad tonight 3 ER that kid is going to be SICK.

he wasnt that great tonight either. he walked the bases loaded - he was lucky to get out of that. he only pitched 5 innings and gave up 3 runs - 4 walks and 6 hits. hes a good prospect but lets not pretend this was a great outing

No one's pretending it was a great outing. For a 21 year old pitcher ( who happens to be the second youngest player in the MLB ) who plays for f***ing TAMPA BAY who faced arguably the best lineup in baseball? I'd say that's pretty good...all he needed today was some run support and he could have easily had us.

 

Again, not a GREAT outing, but a pretty good one.

I agree that he's going to be good but unfortunately for him he plays for TB and wont have that many wins this year. Hmm I wonder when Kazmir comes up for free agency. he must have a while till that hits - but he will still be pretty young and you know TB wont be able to pay him.

Get him a good pitching coach on a team that can give him run support and he could blossum...he has that potential.
