ESPN.com says that the Mariners got Adrian Beltre. Uh oh, Seattle isn't too bad. They spent 114 million in 24 hours on Richie Sexson and Beltre. Oh boy, the Mariners got some pop in their lineup! Ichiro, Sexson, Beltre, not a bad batting lineup.

Mariners are back baby, i didn't think they could pull it off, adding a good bat in the offseason to the Mariners used to mean Al Martin! This is great news!

look at the cardinals, 2nd best offence the the majors, only to get swept in 4 games. it's not because the sox had a better offence, it was because their pitching staff was nothing but average.
