I woke up this morning, like any old day, and everything felt the same..... I was kind of shocked. I was even kinda 'blah'. I did my thing and took a day off from work. I shlocked around and started reading about what I'd just witnessed. As I'm reading, I start to realise the magnitude of what just happened.

Of course I knew what I'd just seen, but it had not really set in yet. Hell, NY hasn't hardly set in yet - at least I haven't been able to fully enjoy it just yet.

As the day has gone on, and I'm a little bit farther from last night, it's starting to hit me. It's like I awoke in the eye of of tornado or something. It's so quiet, so calm. Everything. And it's not even over yet.

But the farther I get from that moment, the wind is starting to whip. The shitstorm from hell is on in NY. Boston. The baseball universe.

For those of you feeling the weirdness, beware that the parade is on Saturday I think. "Can you believe?' - it's only going to get better.

Except for the fact that Tornados don't have eyes, I completely agree with you. I just went about my day as if it were normal, talking about the sox as if they had just won a regular season game against Baltimre 5-2. A disproportionate amount of people were wearing sox shirts, but that was all.

This Saturday parade will get me excited though, I can guarantee you that.
