Well lets keep taking this one inning, game at a time. I am glad Pedro will start a road game, I don’t think the pressure will get to him and Dlowe has been money and I am looking at a strong performance from him in Game 4

 

So 1 inning at a time, and we should be fine.

 

Glad Francona put Varitek in the 5 hole, took out Schiiling when he did, and we are set up nicely for the next few games in St. Luois

i don't think pedro is the type of pitcher that lets pressure get to him. if he pitches poorly it's simply because he pitches poorly, not because of the pressure.

 

i think pitching in st lous will be an advantage for pedro. he's a fastball pitcher with an occasional curveball. the big bats of the cards are all fastball hitters, fastball + good contact = home run. bigger park = less chance of home runs. i want to see pedro get that win tomorrow.

pedro would have started game 2 but schilldawg cant bat and run so it was smarter. anyway, pedro will have a good game. he had a good game in game 2 of alcs if we remember, giving up 1 run through 6, we could just not muster up any offense.
