wow, theyve never heard of novacaine, and they are heartless. its not like sox fans said lou gherig was faking a disease...my god. they are totally classless. yes, ill admit he runs his mouth sometimes, but my god, i almost s*** myself when i saw that post about yankee fans not degrading themselves to our level...like they have anymore degrading to do...

 

classless ignorant bitches who dont know s***. if they were sensitive theyd look into the f***ing matter before they start sounding like a baby whos diaper needs changing.

Wow. Sure there's plenty of heckling, conjecture, and even a tad bit of mean-spiritedness here. But I've never seen anything like some of those folks over there. Seems like there's a shortage of warm babas and fresh, clean diapers in NYC of late.

 

What part of "Shut Up" did they not understand? They interpreted it as "do a poopie and cry until mommy abandons you on a doorstep".

I love to see how they talk so horrible about schilling and all the while Steinbrenner was breaking his back trying to sign him, then decides to go with A-Rod. Good choice there.

 

Kinda like the Aesop fable about the fox who couldn't reach the grapes on the vine. When he gave up trying, he walked away saying to himself, "those grapes are probably sour anyways."

 

The moral: It is a fool who often despises that which he cannot attain.

It's really amazing to me that they seem more upset about not being able to chant "1918" and "Curse of the Bambino" anymore than losing to a better team. The are absolutely terrified about the games next year at Fenway.

 

I just knew it all along, they are not so much fans of the game or the rivalry, they just liked Boston under their thumb and the chants of "26-0".

 

One of the posts out there says something like "The rivalry won't be the same" if the Sox win the WS. It will be the same, just that NY won't have the intimidation factor going and will lose more often - and their "fans" won't be able to say jack s***.

Yup. They are only proving that they arent true fans. It's pathetic to think about really. Reading these threads that pop up, its a complete and utter joke.

Anybody want to get into a mock fight with me out there? I could come in as a "typical Yankee fan" and you can make me look like an idiot. I'll just keep posting how diehard a Yankee fan I am, how I've been a Yankee fan since 2003 and keep posting chants of "1917" and "24-0" and "Curse of the Zamboni!" And I cud tipe like a forth gradre :thumbsup:

Who cares, the fact of the matter is that we are in the Series, have a 3-0 lead, and everyone here, and in the rest of America, knows that Schilling is a warrior. If they think that calling him a fake is a way to handle their depressing winters, then let them have that luxury. It's about time we embraced what we have as opposed to fight over petty insults and moronic comments. Secondly, and I know I just said we shoudn't do this, remember Game 3. In Game 6 every Yankee's fan was so convinced that Schilling was a goner since he was "injured" in Game 3. I mean Game 3 proves he was hurting and hurting bad, nobody gives up 6 runs in three innings to increase drama for their next start. Its a case of convenient memories in New York, it's too bad they can't block them all out, or the 2004 season wouldn't exist at all.
