Red Sox Postgame Vids

I don't get NESN, so I didn't get the postgame interviews. Lots of them are posted here on the right.

Pretty cool. But 2 things stand out.....

 

1 - John Henry - third link down - comes across as, well, a totally out of touch, corporate weasle who's really badly putting on an act. He's so uncomfortable, trying to kiss Red Sox fan's asses one minute, then coming off like a like an ego maniac the next. Best line: Reporter "Well, Hr. Henry, congratulations on the win". Henry "Your'e welcome" (not Thanks). The reporter just kinda stares at him.

 

2 - Manny - first link - says something, then mugs at the camera and says "I LIVE FOR THIS!." I know he's got that corny shoe ad (which is a riot), but now he's making a commercial for MLB? It's actually classic Manny. Hillarious.

I completely agree about John Henry. When he was being interviewed I was like "just stop talking already, please" He was being a complete tool throughout it I thought. Not to mention, his voice is annoying as all hell.

 

He should stick to running/financing the team. Enough public talking for him. Let Lucchino do it, he's better I think.
