The Time Has Come To Rewrite History

"The sox rallied against the Yankees, against Mariano Rivera, and against 86 years of defeat" There is never a time when defeat looked so certain, when Rivera took the mound in the ninth you could see it all coming to an end. You close your eyes hearing the third strike, the third out, yet nothing happens, and they play on. That is what this team is doing, they are playing on, they quieted every talk show, every sportscast, and most importantly every Yankee's fan. The men who gathered around home plate in the 11th, they weren't ready to give up, they weren't moping around, looking for tomorrow as a certain defeat. I almost gave up as a fan, but after seeing this, after seeing what is left, I can hope, and the Yankee's can still fall. Hope is slim, but when was Boston's hope anything but a moonshot, that's all we need, and as long as there is one out left, they can win this whole goddamn thing.

Will never happen, even though the Sox won last night the amount of energy they expended to do it tells me that they fought and they fought hard but, I think too little too late.

If I am not mistaken two teams played for 5 hours plus, last night. Why wont the yankees be just tired.

 

Nothing would be sweeter than make smug yankeee fans like some poeple shut up once and for all.

The only curse around here is that we have to put up having with sub-human--yank me fans.

It would be amazing, but i am not getting my hopes up just because they won 1 game.

I tried not to get too pissed off after game 1, then again in games 2 and 3.

 

Same with after last night. Not going to be too excited until it happens. It's a long road, and this team has to take it 1 game at a time.
