Official: Derek Lowe In Rotation

well, heres the link. schilling WILL be scratched from game 5 (if necessary), and i like the move. the only thing that bothers me is that its official that derek lowe will start in his place.

1) I'm glad schilling won't have the opportunity to aggravate his inruy and to make things worse for next season. He needs to have the surgery ASAP and to recover fully.

2) The postseason is a whole different ballgame. Anything can happen really, and I bet you Lowe will have a good outing if the series goes to 5 games. He'd pitch in Fenway with the support of the crowd, which is important considering how much of a nutcase he can be on the mound.

i hear that yeszir. with lowe pitching and hopefully some sort of rainout pedro will get that extra day or two rest and be good for game 6 and it will fit in nicely so that arroryo will start in enough rest if the series were to go 7.

I may sound like an "idiot" but I think Lowe is going to be ok. He pitched well against Anaheim and he's throwing for a new contract.

in a sense i would like there to be a rainout for pedro, but yet again, i have tickets for the game tomorrow night...but i believe lowe has the capability of pitching well. after all, previously in the playoffs hes proved he can be money in the playoffs.
