I do think he is somewhat justified in being upset about lack of run support, especially the episode where he got 17 strikeouts and took a loss.

But that was 4 and a half years ago. May 6th, 2000 to be exact. He hasn't complained of lack of run support in a while because the sox have scored with their explosive lineup when he's pitched.

I was wondering when that happened. I couldn't for the life of me remember. That was a long ass time ago. Yeszir, i definantly agree that he has no need to complain about lack of run support. Especially with these last two record-breaking offensive seasons.

Sign Pedro...sign Varitek...release Lowe...pick up Pavano or the likes of.

That sounds like a perfect idea. Pedro and Varitek are great and Lowe isn't.

Pavano might even end up being our number 3 starter if we got him.

It would be great looking at a Pedro Martinez, Curt Shilling, Carl Pavano, Bronson Arroyo, Tim Wakefield rotation for next year. With Varitek behind the plate.

But then what do you do when playoffs come? Send Bronson to the pen?

We'll figure that out next year i suppose.

Wonder what our bullpen is going to shape up to look like next year (after trades etc...)? If we have a healthy dominating pen i would want Wake to start and have Bronson in the pen. Or have them split the game pitching every fourth game.

Arroyo is a future ace...no doubt in my mind. He proved that he's a legit starter in the minors, and he's shown signs of brilliance in the majors. Keep in mind he once pitched a perfect game down in the minors. This man needs to stick to the rotation, and start regularly, 3, 4, or 5. As long as he starts.

Wakefield never ceases to scare the living s*** out of me. One day, he'll pitch 8 Innings of 2 hit baseball...the next he'll give up 6 homeruns. Against the tigers.

What does that mean for the sox? Who knows. Maybe just keep starting him. Yeah.

I'd love to have Pavano. LOVE IT. That's an unbelievable rotation. Schilling, Pete, Pavano, Arroyo, Wakefield? That's one of the dirtiest things I've ever heard.

ARROYO NEEDS TO BE SIGNED TO A LONG TERM CONTRACT NOW. NOW GODDAMNIT NOW!

Yeah one thing about Arroyo, whether he has potential or not, is that he has a winner's attitude; when he gets shelled he just kind of shakes it off with a smirk and moves on to the next guy. Most other guys (Mr. Lowe, for instance) get all wired up and P-O'd and just fall off the wall once they start letting things go. Arroyo has a certain composure that is not often seen in younger players who are not yet jaded or tempered by time and experience.

i've said it time and time again, pedro is a must sign. i find it extremely annoying that people call him a crybaby. shut up people. you don't know him. you sound like the damn boston media. do you really think pedro thinks that the yankees are his daddy. this guy is such an arrogant man. he has way too much pride to say that and mean it. he was just frustrated. or playing games.

i love pedro, i love his attitude even more. i love his arrogance, his cockiness. it's great. if we don't sign pedro the yankees will and we'll pay more than ever. mark my words.

lowe is gone, unless we sign him as reliever, other than that, he's gone. tek is a must sign if the price is right. if he wants more than 7-8 mill a year he can go elsewhere. there is no need to have a 32+ yo catcher who's past his prime. his arm isn't very strong and his batspeed is slower than an old lady behind the wheel. i love tek, but only at the right price.

I think Pedro pitched good, 7 K's. Especially now when Schilling is out, he is stepping up his game. No run support = no win.

i don't know what it is, but i don't think i have EVER seen a game that pedro pitched in which the sox actually scored a plentiful amount of runs. it's like they forget how to swing when pedro pitches.
