Obviously, we are limping into the playoffds, but I guess who isnt.

 

Our big problem stems from having the worst manager in baseball. He has no clue what to do or when to do it.

 

It should be pretty obvious why our starting pitching is unraveling now. Why Pedro looks awfu and why lowe stinks, and why wakefield has one decent start for september...Because Francona has over used them. While it sounds great to say you've used the same 5 guys starting all year. Big f***ing whoop. Now when we need them most they've ppitched too many innings. Pedro for years hasnt pitched a whole season...they used to keep his pitch count down to about a 100 a game. Not so any more. After it was clear he stunk last night why would leave him any longer than say 2 or 3 innings. Perfect example of stupid managing.

 

Why would you bring Kim in--you're only down by a couple the yankees could have split there was no way of knowing at that point, but again Francona makes the wrong move.

 

Why is lowe even still pitching..

 

WE have a dangerously fatigued staff, a clown and idiot managing and the playoffs around the corner...

Before bringing in Kim he had Hyzdu in for Manny.

I also do not know why Pedro pitched the 5th as bad as he was going.

His fatigued is obvious. He hasn't pitched this many innings since 2000, and back then he was 18-6 with a 1.74 ERA.

The good news is he gets 6 days rest for Game 2. The bad news is Tito has to decide when to take him out of the game.

Franconas not that bad one thing I like about him is he usually learns from his mistakes. Thhere is no way he will leave Pedro out after the 7th in a short game if he does he should be fired promptly.

I dont think he has learned one from his mistakes. It isnt like that stupid pedro decison was the first time that happend. The entrie season has been like that. He is always the last one to know.

 

I think pedro is way too proud to have something like this become p[art of his legacy. He is bright guy.

 

I think his arm is tried. I think he has mis used this seaosn. I think its pretty easy to see Schilling gets the nod. I would think pedro is embarassed more than anything.

 

Last night he just sucked. I cant believe pedro would tank consciously or not.

He will be pedro in the playoffs--I dont htink people really remeber who started which number game anyway, when all is said and done we remeber that we won or lst the series.

 

He also said he was almost positive he was going to stay in boston. That's enough for me. Bottom line I want to win and I dont care he gets that job done as long as it gets done.

Everything has changed. Nothing has changed. I don't want to go through this again. I can't live without it. I'm not sure I can handle it. I couldn't imagine any other way.

The way the MLB tiebreakers line up, the Twins will have to sweep the Guardians this weekend in order to get home field and the Sox in the first round. It certainly doesn't seem likely since they've used up most of their staff against the MFY. So it seems we're looking at either the Angels or the A's on Tuesday.
