Will Ichiro break the major league hits record? He's on pace for 166, and is currently only 30 shy of the record of 157.

 

He's been hitting something like .470 since the ASB. I say no doubt he'll do it.

No, he doesnt. You can't raise your average 30 points after September 9th. It's not possible, he'd have to literally hit .600 for the rest of the season.

I think he can do it. He had 2 hits last night, which puts him needing 28 more hits. He's such a good player, and has a lot of speed, which creates more opportunities for hits.

 

Hit .400 though? I don't think so.

Of course he dose it the guy gets 2 hits a night but he wont hit .400 maybe next year though..........
