ok well should we make the playoffs this year, there has been a lot of discussion around me of what kevin millars next antic will be. last year was the cowboy up and shaved heads, and what do u all think it will be this year?

we got embarrassed last year with that cowboy up. i went to the clemens/pedro game last year in the ALCS at fenway where the fights broke out.

 

some yankee fan was holdin up a sign that said "cowboy up my ___". we can fill in the blank but it was funny. a red sox fan went over and swiped it out of his hand and the yankee fan got tossed outta the game. makes me wonder how biased security guards are...thankfully towards red sox fans!!!

I agree with you all, this team should just stay focused on what needs to be done. Hell, they celebrated when they clinched the Wild Card last year as if they had just won the ALCS. This team should worry about winning it all first, then breaking out the bubbly.

I too thought the whole "Cowboy up" business was a little overboard. This team just needs to play winning baseball, not worry about head shavings or silly catch phrases.

 

Hey, head shavings and catch phrases didn't work.

 

What was the Marlins catch phrase last year?

Didn't have one.

 

Did Ivan Rodriguez get most of the players to band together by dying their hair, or shave their heads, or tear off the left shoulder of their sleeve, any of that other B.S? Afraid not.

 

I hate to be a party-pooper, but Millar should focus his effors LESS on becoming a celebrity (KFC, Reverse the Curse Ice Cream,Cowboy up, etc) and more on playing BASEBALL.

Are we the Marlins no this is Boston not Southern Florida. I liked cowboy up it didn't hurt anything it's not like any of the players are focusing more time on phrases than the way they play it's no big deal and if anything it gave the fans and the players a little bost of energy. The MArlins don't really have fans even if they did have a phrase no would would know or even car for that matter.
