Arod, Magglio vs. Manny, Nomar

The Red Sox almost ended up with Arod and Magglio this off-season, are you thankful the trades did not go through, or would you have rather been seeing Arod and Magglio on opening day?

Skill aside, Manny and Nomar are part of the team. Them two and Pedro have been the dynamic trio for the past few years, and losing two of them could kill the team. A-Rod would not have fit in on the team. I do like Magglio, but A-rod's payroll gives me an aneurysm just thinking about it. Say it with me folks, "A-Rod is an A-Hole!"

In terms of skill, sorry to say, but arod and magglio. Arod is better than nomar (), and magglio is about on par, maybe a little bit more consistent than manny. But I'm still DAMN happy with our guys.

Skill wise I agree with Dave...but if you factor payroll and chemistry, it's a tougher decision.

Unfortunately, i'd have to go with magglio-arod. arod is better than nomar, and i'd call magglio equal to manny. either way, i think the sox will be just fine with what they've got.
