Is there a way for Boston and Chicago to make each other better while trading MLB pieces?

The Cubs and Red Sox have similar trade deadline needs in the rotation, but can the two franchises agree to a deal that pulls from both rosters' strengths?

Nope.  The Red Sox have needs, but getting rid of a good team player like Bregman isn't it.  Devers was traded because he wasn't one and too expensive.  The team is blessed with many outfield, 2nd base and SS positions.  The teams need is first base.
