  1. What I would like is have a couple of teams from each division switch or trade places with their counterpart in the Other league. For two years, the Red Sox, Tigers, and Angels go play in the NL while the Braves, Pirates, Giants play in the AL. then Orioles, Twins, Mariners, switch with the Mets, Reds, Padres, for 2 years. Yankees, WhiteSox, Astros switch with Marlins, Cubs, Rockies for 2 years. Blue Jays, Royals switch with Philly, Brewers,DBacks for 2 years Rays,, Guardians,A's switch Nationals, Cardinals and Dodgers for 2 years, then start over with the Sox NL FOR 2 AL FOR 8.
  2. The Sox have a gem in the stud Guerrero, big boy , Oviedo needs to trust his stuff, i dislike nibblers
  3. Every thread here turns into a free for all, I thought this was a thread about how many games they would win this year???
  4. Looking into my crystal ball and it says the 2026 Boston Red Sox will win 96 or 97 games. It also said enjoy the season because greed is going to cancel the 2027 season.
  5. Earth shaking move right there, waste of a roster spot.
  6. At some point some of these long term signings are going to come to bear on the Dodgers. What teams need to do is not bail them out in any shape or form, not money, not players. Let them have the entire 10 years of Betts. By the way has anyone else noticed the difference between 1st year Ohtani and present day Ohtani, he would never juice though just like he was clueless about the gambling that surrounded him.
  7. Our best advice is to enjoy 2026, we just continue to be amazed at the $$$ being paid to some(oh hell, most)of these players. In fact they are paying bums millions and it makes us wonder what is really going on with these pro teams, they almost seem like they have become someone's washing machine of sorts.
  8. Sounds like a lets tread water move, not make waves which is what they need, count us as not impressed. Wake us when they get serious.
  9. I will wait until I see him either pitch or throw, at least a couple times
  10. won't verify my e-mail, gives me the six digit number, then tells me nope, not the number.
  11. No way on God's green earth do the Sox make this stupid trade, your overblown opinion of Greene's worth suggests you might want to slow down on the self medicating. Your own assessment of Greene's career so far(injuries) is the reason your Reds will have to look for a sucker elsewhere
  12. The guy from the Phillies needs to return as the DH, if Alonso opts out, bring him in too to play 1B. sign the Lefty SP from Houston, Torres maybe to play 2B, Next winter the Sox have to be all in when Skubel goes Free Agent, Him, Croch, and Valdez. Spent the $$$$$$ Henry.
  13. Congrats to the Red Sox, they overcame a bunch, some of it their own doing, but they hung in there with the injuries and passed my expectations. Been a Sox fan since 62 and I am hard pressed to find a year to compare this team to. I know some will want to say 2013, but that does not fly when power is considered. The playoffs look wide open in the American League, but the Sox are going to need all facets of their game to click to get to the W.S. my prediction is that they will have to beat Seattle to get there, Who would you rather play in the wild card set? Yanks or Jays? Game 1 will be huge against either.
  14. Glad to be wrong going into the last 9 games of the season and my 3-6 prediction, playoffs should be interested and the best thing is that Devers will be watching. Best move of the season, shipping off that selfish child. Congrats Bosox.
  15. Sorry, not looking good for anything but 3-6 over the last nine, unless they get lucky. 3-6 will not get it done
  16. They really need a win today to prevent this from being a replay of 2024 after the break. The all star break could not have come at a worse time, given how they were playing just one week ago.
  17. The Sox losing Bregman for any amount of time bites, can they start getting some hits with guys in scoring position? .500 baseball gets harder to watch with each passing week, and this team has shown no signs that they can play with the consistency needed to be a top tier team. 2B is still a hole, Story just plain sucks, strikeout machine, one of their worst free agent signings ever. Put Yoshida at 1B? lets hope they break this wrong way streak toight at 3.
  18. We are at the quarter pole and 2025 looks alot like 2024 record wise so far. The bottom three have collectively have been MIA. baseball in general some very high scoring games early on, makes me wonder what the summer holds when the ball really starts to fly. They need to hit better then they have so far to be a force going forward. We NEED RUNS, lot's of them.
  19. He needs to put the team before himself, old school says put him on the bench, going to be interesting from here in the desert to see the fans reaction at the next homestand.
