    If this report of Hunter Greene being available is true, I'd be willing to throw it all at him. KC, Garcia, Abreu or Duran, Perales. Whoever. Only Mayer, Tolle, Early, and Anthony should be considered untouchable if Greene is available.

    I was thinking before bed last night about dream, realistic, lineups for 2026, and this was the lineup I came to. It implies a trade of Wilyer and likely Yoshida.     The Reds need offense bad. Burns figures to slide into the rotation. If they decide to bring back Martinez, Lodolo becomes a very valuable asset. I'm not sure how highly other teams value Wilyer, but that feels like.a good match.

    I think Lodolo falls into the category of fringe #2's the Red Sox would look at. I'd rather a righty, but I like Lodolo's pitch mix and profile. This is my shortlist of guys I want the Red Sox to atleast look into.     How much faith do you have in other teams valuation of our prospects? I feel like we know our prospects pretty well, and haven't really gotten burnt much in the past few years, but I definitely do think we hover around the top 10 in that regard. Breslow really hasn't made any big mistakes with our prospects yet (not that he's been super aggresive). This will be a big year for his regime.

    Wink, Moran, Campbell are all probably going to be DFA'd. Hicks still has a lot of money tied to him (2 years, 12.5 AAV), so they're probably going to give him the longest leash.

    It seems unlikely the Mariners trade Woo after the season he just had. Honestly if we could get Kirby from them that would be great. Outside of Seattle, Joe Ryan obviously intrests me, but I'm not sure the Twins are willing to give him up right now. Mitch Keller is under contract until 2029 and only 29. I'd test the waters on Jared Jones, particularly if we give them a few major league ready bats (Abreu, plus Garcia and I'd throw Campbell in for Jones). I'd be interested in Nick Lodolo but I'm weary about adding another lefty to the rotation. I'd talk to the Rays about Ryan Pepiot, but I'm not sure they'd be willing to move him. Tanner Bibee from Cleveladn would be fun, not sure how much they value him though and wouldn't be suprised if they valued him pretty heavily. Logan Allen and Luis Ortiz are also both young and controllable, and would probably be lower in cost. I'd call the Royals, maybe we could convince them to part ways with Ragans or Bubic.

    Bryce Miller could be an interesting guy for the Red Sox to trade for. Struggled this year, but was hurt and just dominant against Toronto. Feels like we match up well with outfield depth and Miller or Hancock seems the most likely out of the Seatlle super rotation to get traded. Miller's underlying stats weren't great, but they have a strong farm system and could throw in an interesting prospect. Just a year removed from a sub 3 ERA campaign. He's on my shortlist of starters I'd be happy if the Sox traded for

    Wouldn't be suprised if Fitts gets the Priester treatment. I'd rather Tolle get more time in AAA to develop secondaries than throw him in the bullpen. Criswell has been awful for the Red Sox out of the bullpen, but great as a starter. Seems like hes more of an AAAA depth guy. If we let Gio go, I wouldn't be too upset with a 5 man of Crochet, adding a number 2, Bello, Early, Harrison.

    Nate Lowe with an .866 OPS his last 14 days. Not really slugging but getting on base at a .455 clip. What a pickup he has been. Him masa and ceddanne all getting how this time is amazing.

    Not against starting Story, he needs to get over these fielding yips. Would want him to work through that in the least stressful situations

    Ceddanne in his last 14 days: .311/.340/.444 (.785 OPS) Last 7 days .333/.390/.571 (.963 OPS) Yoshida last 20 games .338/.364/.451 (.814 OPS) 1.007 OPS in last 14 days 1.135 in last 7 days Getting them both hot, and getting Abreu back to normal, and this lineup becomes incredibly deep.

    I think we can compare him to PCA a little, maybe with a bit of a lower ceiling. Both players have really great stretches and REALLY poor stretches, looks like consistency will be the main problem for him. I'd rather him be a 700ish OPS guy year round than an 800 guy first half and a 600 guy second half.

    Something has to give in the outfield. Breslow has commited long term to Rafaela and Anthony, so I doubt either of them are going anywhere. Unless we can find someone to take Yoshidas contract, he's pretty much locked in at DH, and I doubt Cora would want to DH Abreu or Duran. That means one of them should probably get traded this offseason. Abreu is younger and has more control, but Duran is a fan favorite and a better player. Suffering from success i guess...

    Duran played 2nd in college and a little in A- ball. Could we move him to 2nd? I feel like that is a conversation we should have

    Haha very fair and very understandable. My problem is the GG in CF doesn't matter if he isn't playing CF. I know we have a very crowded outfield but that glove needs to be out there. It's also worrying we are seeing the same trends as last year (stretches of low plate discipline, high strikeout rates and no walks). His speed will also be a major plus if we can bump that OBP up to atleast 300. I'd really like to know what Cora and the coaching staff are relying to him, as it was looking promising pre all star break (.314 OBP) but has since fallen off a cliff (.234 since). It's weird this coincides with him playing multiple positions again....
