  1. i agree. and definitely a keeper. i'll admit that Bernadino did not excite me even a little when he was signed but he's done a great job. nice pick up by Bloom.
  2. i know...i know. can't wait to see those three move on. great win though!
  3. Garza. LOL. how the f*** is this guy still on the team?
  4. batting around. haven't seen that in some time. or so it seems.
  5. bottom of the lineup coming thru today.
  6. holy freakin' cow. i woulda bet money Kike hit into a DP. good job.
  7. thanks for lessening my faith in Bloom even more.
  8. and Bello too. it seems like he gets better and better each week.
  9. with deGrom's injury history, i don't know how he get's that deal. i couldn't believe it. he's almost like a right-handed Sale. and the Rangers get to pay him $192M over the next 5 years.
  10. i'm well aware. just too bad someone with the Sox didn't see what the Braves saw in these two.
  11. i couldn't resist looking it up. Bello is the 6th. the last was Luis Castillo of the Mariners who gave up just one run in 7 innings on June 2nd. and yeah....great job by Bello!!
  12. i agree with Bellhorn in that he certianly could have done some things better. for one, he could have drafted better. just looking at the 2020 MLB draft, the Sox took Yorke (at #17), Jordan (#89), Wu-Yelland (#118) (who??) and Drohan at #148. Meanwhile, the Braves took Spenser Strider at #126 and Bryce Elder at #156. Both are not just contributing to the Braves RIGHT NOW but doing so in a big way.
  13. i asked because it seems we're all geniuses after the fact on what should have been done. i admit that i'm no exception. just wondering who you and others think Bloom should be targeting this offseason to fill the obvious holes.
  14. who do you think Bloom should be looking at to fill those obvious holes?
  15. i'd DFA this clown right now if i could.
  16. yeah....too bad they changed up the schedule so that we don't play the jays and yankees more this year. LOL. it is nice to turn it around on them after last year.
  17. i agree and would add Bello to that core group. i think i'm more excited about him than anybody in the organization right now.
  18. i didn't say anyone was. i was just asking.
  19. i'm not against drafting a HS kid, especially if he has a really high upside, but i do think HS kids are a bigger crapshoot than college kids. do you think we should give Bloom a pass the next 5-7 years no matter what to see if his HS kids might work out?
  20. "since he drafts almost only HS players", does that mean we're supposed to give Bloom a pass for the next 5, 6, 7 years waiting for them to develop? i'm thinking maybe he should be looking at some kids who are a bit closer to being ready.
  21. and who doesn't love a greedy billionaire?
