  1. this has to be very demoralizing to the team.
  2. what a waste of $10M dollars.
  3. be fine with me. this is just a s*** show that never ends. where is Moon and his glass is half full attitude?
  4. only 6 games, including a 1-0 loss to the Rays early April.
  5. Red Sox and A's are the only teams yet to record a shutout this year. The Jays and Rays have 9 each.
  6. well....only one team with more errors than the Sox (SF).
  7. yeah, he is, and i have very high hopes for him, but outside of him, it's slim pickings.
  8. maybe the Dodgers, Astros and Rays just have better scouts and/or MiLB coaches. their farms produce MLB talent. ours produces boiled crap, at least when it comes to pitching prospects.
  9. can't happen soon enough for me. since his arrival i've been completely underwhelmed.
  10. yeah, i don't have a clue and you're a f***ing genius. i guess i should have posted it in green. look, i get it, you love JD. hell, i love JD and hate that he wasn't resigned. but i also hated him swing and miss at low and away all the freakin time.
  11. friend of mine is a huge Dodgers fan. he felt the same away about Jansen as we did about Barnes and Braiser -couldn't wait to see him playing somewhere else.
  12. how any pitcher -ever- would throw anything but a slider low and away to JD is beyond me. maybe NL pitchers haven't figured this out yet.
  13. agreed. i remember, more than once, Barnes coming in top of the 9th, blowing the save, then getting the win after the Sox came back in the bottom of the 9th. dumb as hell how they award wins. and losses.
  14. this is why, for relievers, you use the "eye test". and last night, my eyes told me that Joely was boiled crap.
  15. maybe it's the Ray's Way.
  16. this game is another reason W-L records are ********. Bello gives up 1 run and gets the loss. the L on this game falls squarely on Joely Rodriguez.
  17. i read that Cora gave him an extra night off because he had been hustling lately. really.
  18. didn't know that but like Red said, I'd rather have Dugo up there.
  19. i was thinking the same think. no way i would have let Casas and his .194 BA bat there.
  20. i agree... Bello is a work in progress with tons of upside.
  21. and i think Kluber would be Exhibit A on why you don't rely solely on them.
