  1. Names is the only thing bothering you? Are you saying everything said is true?
  2. Didn’t you read previous hilarious post that JBJ couldn’t hit, because he played on a new team facing different pitching?
  3. Just do what I do. Just when they think they know the answers change the question. Drives them nuts.
  4. It’s still hilarious to defend JBJ’s BA, or is it the need to defend Bloom for trading for him? Either way it’s hilarious.
  5. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion, and this s a talk forum. The problem is when someone has a different opinion as some on here. There should be a good balance, and some sort of disagreement, and it doesn’t mean one side is right over the other. Like I’ve said before there is a whole big world of Red Sox nation out there that doesn’t have the same opinion as some on here, but some can’t seem to handle that.
  6. Well said, and they all seem to congregate on here. Total eclipse.
  7. Like I said everything is pure speculation by everybody, and Bloom isn’t talking at this point.
  8. Do you honestly think JBJ is more likely to hit 283 again, or 163? Trying to defend JBJ’s BA is hilarious. It’s not being done anywhere else.
  9. Someone who has been full eclipsed is commenting on something he got scooped on. I didn’t see JBJ on your wishlist. Have you been following all the talk on this trade on all the sports shows, and print media in the real world? Not quite the same take as yours, but that’s, because they don’t use the polish.
  10. JBJ was just the throw in, and you know this how? They are going to sign another outfielder, and you know this how? Everything is just speculation at this point, and nobody mows for sure what Blooms intentions are at this point..
  11. Some on here are trying awfully hard to justify this trade, but to say JBJ couldn’t hit because of new pitches in new parks. Wow!
  12. I’m not a big Renfroe fan, and I was all for replacing him, but without his 96 RBI the Sox don’t get to the postseason.
  13. How much of the talk in the media comes true? How much talk in the media was there about any of the moves the Red Sox have made so far. I don’t remember any JBJ talk.
  14. If the Sox were so unconcerned about the luxury tax they would be signing better players than they have.
  15. So they are going to trade for someone, and pay them $10M, or so, and then go out, and sign someone else to play his position? I get that it’s only $3M, or so more than they would have payed Renfroe, but Renfroe would have been playing. That just doesn’t make sense to me.
  16. It sounds like we bailed out Milwaukee getting out of a real bad contract, and the bad contract is ours prospects or not.
  17. Bogey has full no trade after 7 yrs in contract.
  18. He knows about the jalopies (good analogy}, because that all he’s allowed to buy.
  19. You keep talking about last year, and things turned out pretty well with almost a trip to the WS, but last year is over, and it doesn’t mean the same thing will happen again this year.
  20. I’m just saying that the way the Sox are handling this off season is what everyone SHOULD have expected doing the same kind of deals they did last year, because of what Sam Kennedy said at the end of the year, so I don’t know how the Yankees do business has anything to do with how the Sox do business. I did not say this is what I would do, but only gave an opinion on what Sam Kennedy said that I guess no one else heard, or just continue to ignore, and up to now they are pretty much doing what Sam Kennedy said. It wasn’t that hard to understand what he said.
  21. This is what everyone should have expected. Maybe not these 3 guys, but 3 guys just like them. Kennedy, and Bloom made it very clear after the season they would be following the same plan as last year, which I took to meant no big long term contracts, and signing guys like the three pitches they just signed. I know I sound like a broken record on this, but this was what was implied to me would be happening. I know there were hopes of bigger things to come, but so far they have stuck to what they said they would do. Last years plan.
  22. I’m not thrilled either, and I don’t blame Bloom for having to work with a smaller spending account than a lot of the other teams do. I would, and I assume others would to like to know what that budget is..
  23. Sounds like your critical of Bloom for those signings.
