I meant that he was out a while which messed with the chemistry. They look disoriented and at times, disinterested. This whole year is just a crapshoot for sports.

Use this thread to sound off to the owner of our beloved Boston Red Sox! Will he ever read any of it? Doubtful. But what the heck.. let’s sound off anyway. Hey John. You’ve done some good work in the past. The FO guys that you put in place (with a couple strokes of luck) have helped us to win multiple World Series titles. Now it’s time to get to work and think ahead about what this team will look like for the next 5-10 years. You know what players are here to stay, you know what positions need to be re-evaluated. Have the conversations, have the meetings and sign the checks if need be. I agree about letting go of Mookie. Not interested in having almost 400 million tied up for one player thru 12 years. Dombrowski had to be let go as well. We know 2020 is a charade. 2021 needs to be a drastic improvement. Let’s contend John. No excuses.

At this point? Why not just tank and roll the dice for 2021. This is borderline unwatchable. The Yankees swept us and they aren’t even great. Now the Rays are always inching us in the mouth. Orioles beat us..... who’s next? -

Can’t believe the Sox let horses hit home runs off their pitchers. How does a horse wear cleats anyway? And a baseball uniform? I always thought that a horse is a horse u’course u’course.

I do t think that any of us are cheering for the season to be cancelled but if it does continue it will just spiral out of control. ERod is now officially done for 2020. As far as the Red Sox are concerned, this season is just a dress rehearsal for 2021. I wouldn’t mind some baseball in 2020, no question but Manfred will probably make the right call and cancel it in short order.. probably next week.
