They very well may win it this year but will they? Plus last years ring has a bit of an asterisk. How many players just simply opted out of playing? A two month season? The Dodgers did win but it was a very shortened season with numerous key players deciding that it wasn’t even worth the risk.

The Redbirds have owned Los Doyers for a long time. You can’t complain too much. That aside, a 200 mill payroll doesn’t hurt either. Los Doyers. The Cards will be just fine going forward. Save it. 100 win teams get bounced from division series all the time. We are in the ALCS after winning 92 ball games. Excuse me if I am cheering like hell for this team to focus and execute when it matters most. If they get outplayed while playing their best ball? Oh well. If they lose because they s*** all over themselves then it becomes disappointing. The whole “we are just happy to be there” theory does not apply to Red Sox baseball. This is too big of a market with too big of a payroll. Sure, I am elated with what this team has accomplished so far..

If Sale doesn't pitch like he is capable of in this series.. I just don't think we can overcome it. Our Pen is good but not dominant. The nonsense is over. The time for saying "I need to figure it out" is over. The Astros will jump all over him if he shows any cracks every bit as much as the Rays did if not more so. He needs to be the one to give the pen a damn break this time.. not the other way around. I may be oversimplifying this but his performance may be the deciding factor in this series and beyond. We need to ride Sale, Eovaldi and ERod to a World Series ring. Great performances on the mound from those three wont guarantee us anything but without them we don't stand a chance. No excuses. I feel that we can stay with anyone after eliminating the Rays. Some say we’re overachieving others say that they expected this all along. Who cares. Yeah well.. every team is battling injuries, none more than the Red Sox. If you can play through it, great. If not then don’t cripple the team by being out there if you know you shouldn’t be. These three days off could not come at a better time for the Boston Red Sox.

I don’t want anyone else managing this team. I can’t imagine anyone else managing this team and I do like Buck a lot. Alex hasn’t been here for forever and a day but he goes for the throat every single time in big spots and apparently, he knows how to motivate people when it counts. What is more important than that? When you really need it.. when the chips are down.. the Red Sox have proved many people wrong this year including me. I’m not going to shy away from it. I was wrong about this team. Shows how much I know. What do I always say about the Red Sox, Bruins, the Polish National soccer team, the Pats… I don’t give a damn what player scores the winning goal, gets the assist, who scores the winning run, gets the game winning hit, strikeout…. Etc… it does not matter. It can be a different player every night. When some players are having a tough game, others have to be there to pick them up. And that is exactly what’s been happening. Hope everyone has been enjoying this run because it has been improbable and simply magical thus far. Gotta give Bloom some credit as well.

Cora seems to be pushing all the right buttons so I’m curious how he manages this. Our starters Nathan notwithstanding, have been spotty yet we just won the ALDS. Let that sink in for a moment. A lot of “ifs” going into the ALCS but we had those same “ifs” going into the ALDS and won that series 3 games to 1. Gotta give Cora some credit here.

The 2021 Boston Red Sox have defeated the Tampa Bay Rays to advance to the ALCS. It has been an amazing season and it is not over yet!!! We await the winner of the White Sox and Astros. I don’t care who we play.. as long as we win!!!! 😆 😂 Go SoX!!!!!

What a series… we deserve to move on to the ALCS. This team has a lot of fight in them. I dunno what to say. I’m incredibly happy and proud of this team. THEY FIGHT!
