    So, kinsler, martinez, bogie, nunez, holt, vasquez and bradley are minor leaguers? And eovaldi is hardly a minor leaguer, he may have been down on the depth chart, but he's probably one of your top 5 starters at this point. Nice spin though........

    I agree, if I were a sox fan I would not be discouraged, I think the kid has a bright future. Whether that is at 3rd base remains to be seen.

    While I certainly don't condone lying and stealing from one's employer (although I would venture to say many posters here are guilty of being on this site while at work, which is the same thing), I just don't see how it would make fiscal sense for employers to take one employee out from work to check on another employee who called in sick. And in many cases these people may be using their sick or personal days. I would say that the posters in here all day while on company time is a much more egregious offense than taking one random day off, especially when it may have been a sick/personal day that the employee may have been entitled to.

    I was speaking specifically at the plate, where you can add Andujar to that list, he's a about a year older than devers. Both of their defense leave much to be desired.

    It can't be entirely blamed on his age as there are players out there performing better at the plate around his age.

    I would agree. While it's nice to have a great regular season, it rings hollow if you don't win it all.

    Yup, one of the greats. There is a guy that comes in a bar that I sometimes go to that could be Neil's stunt double.

    In my opinion the biggest disappointment is probably devers. I knew his fielding was sub par but I certainly thought he would have a better showing with the bat. A close second would have to be pedroia in my opinion. It's always disappointing when you lose the heart and soul of your team.
