  1. O's took a small gamble on him and he's been very good. Damn, wish the SOX had made an offer to him earlier.
  2. Here's hoping Stanton's contract with the Yankems is just as bad.
  3. Right now Sale is still a lefty with only a change-up.
  4. The Dodgers bailed the SOX out of some bad contracts; the O's weren't so lucky.
  5. If that happens this season, Moon, I'm pretty sure Vegas would give the SOX the best odds in the AL of reaching the WS. But, obviously, that's a big IF.
  6. Well, he's got to continue paying Chris Davis.
  7. Btw, and I've posted this before, no one wants to see the pitcher bat except his parents and immediate family.
  8. And after Monday's game, the SOX will have played ten against the O's.
  9. Please play tonight; I don't want to watch 2 seven inning games on Sunday. I'm not a fan of 7 inning baseball. Btw, NL, don't use the purity of baseball excuse to deny the use of the DH. The purity of baseball has left the building.
  10. If the SOX had lost yesterday, it wouldn't have been a fart; it would have been something much lumpier.
  11. When one thinks about it, the only advantage the Yankems actually have over the SOX is their BP. Their starters are Cole and 4 other guys, who are nothing to write home about. I believe the SOX offense is better. Not sure about defense.
  12. Yesterday's game was a fart, an entertaining fart, but a fart non-the-less. You may still be smelling that.
  13. Very excellent breakdown of the below average season of hitting so far this season. Thanks for going the exrra yard again, Moon.
  14. Also noticed that low BA's are the rule not the exception. Cordero has a higher BA than Heyward of the Cubs.
  15. Watching the Cubs game and noticed that Baez is the RH version of Devers. Ferocious swing.
  16. With E-Rod starting tonight the pattern has been that the SOX offense will put up some crooked numbers.
  17. One has to take into account which account the accountant is accounting for. And no, I do not want Pujols playing for the SOX.
  18. Playing 10 games against the O's and only seeing Means once. I'll take that.
  19. SOX have had good timing playing the O's. They missed Means in their last series with the O's.
  20. I'll agree with that, Thunder, but I believe 'ugly win' is an oxymoron. Similar to 'beautiful loss.'
  21. Our 2-5 hitters need some help; if Cordero wants to provide it, I'm all for it.
  22. No such thing as ugly wins; only ugly losses.
  23. I think the fans at the game got their money's worth today. It was a combination of MAJOR LEAGUE and THE NATURAL.
  24. Don't forget to watch the low lights of this game on Quick Pitch later tonight.
