  1. The SOX may have lost, but they did have the better looking uniforms.
  2. This also means that Josh isn't the SOX worst reliever.
  3. I guess this means that Andriese won't be available tomorrow.
  4. One last thing about E-rod. Forget about his stats and just remember how many times he couldn't get past the 5th inning because of his consistently high pitch count.
  5. And their fans in Toronto have to travel to Buffalo to see them live. Oh wait, I don't think Torontoans are allowed to travel outside of Canada.
  6. It was silly, but I got to use them or lose them. I have no filter.
  7. I just couldn't resist the SAN ANDREAS FAULT. And, yes, he does stink.
  8. Dodgers let him go as a free agent. With their money that's a head scratcher.
  9. Ryu began his career in MLB in 2013. These are Ryu's lifetime stats: 62-37W/L, 2.95ERA, and 1.158WHIP. Those are stats worthy of a #1 starter. Btw, E-rod's W/L is 56-32. Very misleading.
  10. E-rod has a lifetime ERA of 4.04 and a lifetime WHIP of @1.300. Not exactly #1 stats.
  11. E-rod's W/L record wouldn't be as good as it is if the SOX weren't scoring a bunch of runs when he starts. This guy should never be confused with the word ACE.
  12. Not guaranteeing anything, but the SOX do have their 2 best starters going tomorrow and Thursday.
  13. Don't panic yet. It's very rare the SOX don't score at least 5 runs when E-rod starts.
  14. IMHO, there is no better example of how weak the W/L stat is in evaluating the quality of a pitcher then the career of E-rod.
  15. I realize that will go down as a blown save by Barnes, but he actually didn't do anything wrong. He threw a good pitch to Trout that resulted in a pop-up single and he threw a low inside pitch to Ohtana that he golfed around the Pesky pole. Like I posted earlier, it was just bad luck for Barnes and not the result of any mistake he made. Ohtana and Devers have one major thing in common; no pitch, whether good or bad, is safe when they are at the plate.
  16. Not as 'lowly' as they've been in the past.
  17. The SOX lose Brockstar and replace him with Marvelous Marwin.
