  1. I love how last night with 2 strikes Ki'ke committed himself fully to a high fastball. Great piece of timely hitting.
  2. Reminds me of the old joke that the only park that could keep his well-hit ball in play would be Yellowstone.
  3. Dalbec's 453 foot HR last night was the 2nd longest for a SOX batter this season. Cordero's 474 foot blast back in May is the longest. Also, the exit velocity of Cordero's bomb was 118 MPH, the highest in MLB, so far.
  4. Nice comeback by the SOX. Nice 5 innings from E-rod, just keep him away from the 6th. Nice relief job by Whitlock and O. Nice job by Cora getting Workman out of the 9th before he caused irreparable harm.
  5. Back in the mid 70's when I first got cable, channel 38 was part of the basic cable package. 38 covered all SOX and BRUINS' games. Now I pay for the Extra Innings package.
  6. If the SOX FO told the rest of MLB that they could have their pick of any SOX player, I'm pretty sure all would choose Devers. The most amazing thing about Rafi is that he's only 24.
  7. I can't help but wonder when the last time the SOX had 4 QS in a row. Let's make it 5 tomorrow.
  8. That's a good list, Moon. I'd probably put Devers 2nd and JD 3rd. It's a tough call.
  9. SOX/Yankem game will be televised by FOX tomorrow night. No surprise.
  10. At this point in the season, who would you pick as the SOX MVP? I would go with Barnes.
  11. Does that mean you're all moved in? Unfortunately, I will have to DVR tomorrow night's SOX game because the BRUINS are playing the Isles at 7:00PM.
  12. If one is going to have trust in one reliever, it's good it's the closer.
  13. Credit where credit's due. HP ump, Miller, did a good job tonight.
  14. Last SOX victory at Yankem sandbox was 6/02/19.
  15. I'm convinced from watching a lot of games this year that the 1st and 6th innings are the toughest for starting pitchers.
  16. How many times have we said that this year about SOX pitchers?
  17. Thank goodness Cortes didn't start the game.
  18. It's a marathon full of up's and down's. The good teams have more up's. Thank you, Capt. Obvious.
  19. I can see that. The first 5 years of SNL, imho, were the best.
