  1. Damn, I barely remember being 63 once.
  2. Maybe the Seattle pitcher is old school or his wife didn't give him any last night.
  3. In the good old days of baseball, when a batter hit a HR, the pitcher just threw at the next batter, no matter who it was. That did look intentional to me.
  4. The shock might have killed EO.
  5. Holy s***; it wasn't a solo job. What's happening, Moon?
  6. Travis demonstrating how speed kills.
  7. I'll go with my pat answer; late July.
  8. That was actually better than a walk. Good work, Kyle.
  9. Cora would probably like Dalbec better if it was Dalbez.
  10. The few of us still watching this game are gonna be pissed if Bogey doesn't score.
  11. Just did some stat checking on Seattle. They're near the bottom in runs scored and batting average. Their team pitching ERA is actually a little higher than the SOX. Their defense is about in the middle of the league. So, again I ask the tough question of how is Seattle in contention?
  12. EO with any luck this season could easily have 15 wins right now.
  13. Batting slumps do get magnified when they happen in September.
  14. I believe, and I may be wrong, that this is his first real slump of the season. But your point could definitely be a factor.
  15. I agree completely and Bloom really doesn't need to look for a 1st baseman.
  16. This is all true and I was blinded by his great throw outs this season. In Renfroe's defense, pardon the pun, he has been more of a positive addition to this team than a negative one. W/o him overachieving offensively this year along with his number of outfield assists, the SOX would probably be making plans right now to play golf.
  17. If they don't start winning some games, we can call them the 'so long gang.'
  18. Bobby Dee has definitely been a better contact hitter with 2 strikes than he was earlier in the season.
  19. JD has no clue, but he's not dealing with a contract year. Maybe next season he'll be more motivated.
