  1. Not guaranteeing anything, but the SOX do have their 2 best starters going tomorrow and Thursday.
  2. Don't panic yet. It's very rare the SOX don't score at least 5 runs when E-rod starts.
  3. IMHO, there is no better example of how weak the W/L stat is in evaluating the quality of a pitcher then the career of E-rod.
  4. I realize that will go down as a blown save by Barnes, but he actually didn't do anything wrong. He threw a good pitch to Trout that resulted in a pop-up single and he threw a low inside pitch to Ohtana that he golfed around the Pesky pole. Like I posted earlier, it was just bad luck for Barnes and not the result of any mistake he made. Ohtana and Devers have one major thing in common; no pitch, whether good or bad, is safe when they are at the plate.
  5. Not as 'lowly' as they've been in the past.
  6. The SOX lose Brockstar and replace him with Marvelous Marwin.
  7. Marwin is something else with the leather. Nice job, Bloom, picking up this guy.
  8. Five outs for Barnes. Please don't hesitate.
  9. No idea why the Angels pitchers have stopped throwing Hammer high fastballs. I'm glad they have short memories. Actually, it may be more the catcher's fault then the pitcher's.
  10. JD,similar to Ortiz, doesn't embarrass himself when he is used defensively.
  11. Yesterday OB and Remi were giving accolades to the scout who discovered Trout. How about giving some credit to the SOX scout who found Devers.
  12. To quote Teddy Ballgame: "Pitchers are the dumbest animals on the planet."
  13. If one isn't part 'child,' one probably shouldn't be playing professional sports. But, I get your point. Devers never let's his previous at bat effect his next at bat.
  14. 6 foot, 10 inch pitcher. TIMBER!
  15. The BP can rest tomorrow.
  16. You may be half right.
  17. Is it too early to renumber the pitching staff?
  18. Just watched a wonderful PG-13 baseball movie ANGELS IN THE OUTHOUSE.
  19. 446 feet for X-man. Second longest on SOX; Renfroe hit one 453.
  20. Great job by Perez; 3rd quality start in a row for SOX starters.
