  1. He's our Jeter. Very good bat, average glove.
  2. MC reminds me of Altuve; they both swing a lot at 1st pitches. And that is where the similarity ends.
  3. 3 unearned runs. I wonder what the SOX record would be if they only gave up mostly earned runs?
  4. That didn't take long. Can't give good offenses 4 outs.
  5. Paul O'neill has a voice like a nail scraping a chalk board.
  6. M.Perez is on his own; no help from the defense and no help from the f'ing chUMP,
  7. It takes ______a lot of pitches to get someone out. You may put any SOX starter in the blank space.
  8. The SOX weaknesses outnumber the SOX strengths. Thank you again, Capt Obvious.
  9. Actually, Perez is one of a couple of #5 starters on the SOX.
  10. Our weak defense will always rear its ugly head.
  11. Mary Kaye on YES asked what does Perez bring to the party? He's the SOX #5 starter you moron.
  12. After this 3 game series the SOX and Yankems will meet 8 more times in the next 23 games. The Yankems have already played Tampa 13 times so far.
  13. I was referring to current Yankems, but I agree with your choices.
  14. What do I find similar about Voit, Gardner, and Stanton? Answer: They all have a face I'd like to punch until my arm falls off.
  15. MC will be batting lead-off. And Marwin will be batting 9th. DalbeK will be on the bench.
  16. Arroyo placed on 10 day IL. Arroyo is one of those fragile players that when he slides into a base, you hold your breath hoping he's not injured.
  17. Nola has also had 2 hits, including a run producing double. Phils lead 1-0 in the middle of the 5th.
  18. Nola has 11 K's in 4 innings. Unfortunately, this is one of those crap 7 innings games, so his chance of reaching 20 are slim.
  19. Nola had no idea he had just tied a 51 year old record. deGrom(big surprise) had struck out 9 in a row earlier this season.
  20. Yup. And Alonzo ended it on a great piece of hitting on a low outside 2 strike pitch.
  21. Nola of the Phillies has just struck out the 1st 9 Mets' batters. He broke the Phillies' record of 7 and is one strike out away from tying Seaver's major league record of 10.
  22. I'd love to see the SOX put #15 on the facade sooner rather than later. For years I've questioned why #24 wasn't retired. Doesn't make any sense. The criteria at one point was that the player had to have been inducted into the HOF and finished his career in Boston. Obviously, that's no longer valid. Pedey was one of the best who ever wore a SOX uniform and no one played the game harder or better.
