    Actually, JD prefers playing in the OF. He considers himself an all-around player. I'm not gonna burst his bubble; he's a strong dude.

    Schwarber, obviously, would be a perfect DH for the SOX next season, but with JD coming back, oh well. Best case scenario is Schwarber playing 1st next season, if the SOX can re-sign him.

    The SOX FO got a WS out of JD. I guess most GM's would be happy if a player they signed for 5 years and 100 million helped them win one WS.

    Speaking of SOX 1st basemen, Ortiz, who mainly played 1st base when the SOX had an interleague game on the road, never embarrassed himself at that position. In fact, he was pretty damn good at it.

    The fact that Arroyo is just working out should be concern another injury is on the way.

    Money Ball has proven a low-budget team can be competitive during the regular season; it hasn't proven that team can win a WS.
