  1. From statements credited to Iggy he wants to stay here.
  2. Maybe it's a coincidence, but since Iggy has been an everyday player the SOX have shifted into a higher gear.
  3. I got that stat from MLB network.
  4. Amazing play by Iggy. Hopefully he's back with the SOX next season.
  5. When the Mets are hitting a pitcher this hard, it's rare.
  6. Schwarber owns Walker and the whole Walker family. This is the 7th straight game the SOX have scored 6 or more runs. They haven't done that since 2006.
  7. Best bang for the buck Renfroe.
  8. When Sale came to Boston he was throwing with the same velocity he had in Chicago.
  9. Ron Darling in the Mets' booth stated that Sale's fastball has decreased in velocity and he no longer throws in the high 90's like he did when he was in Chicago. Darling, I guess, was unaware that he was also throwing in the high 90's as a Red Sox. Sadly, living in Central NY, I get the all SOX/Mets games on the Mets' feed.
  10. Hopefully, I'll be starting the game thread Friday and I will post whether the pitcher is RH or LH.
  11. It's makes a little more sense because T.Walker is a RH'r.
  12. Rays leading Jays 6-0 after 3 and a half innings.
  13. T.Walker 7-10 4.27ERA vs C.Sale 4-0 2.40ERA Lindor has hit Sale well. In 17 at bats he's hitting .471. Go SOX!
  14. Hopefully on Friday the SOX can make an ASS of the ACE. They've already done it once this season.
  15. In 2018 it seemed that every move Cora made worked. It seems in the last couple of weeks that it's happening again. I'm all for it.
  16. Perhaps, but it was a valid question. Hell of time to have a pitcher with control problems to debut as a closer.
  17. It worked out, so it must have been the right move.
  18. D-hern threw two beautiful pitches when he needed to. Those yellow jerseys may be hard to take, but keep wearing them.
  19. Don't know why Cora is removing Rchards. Is this another case of over-managing?
  20. Nice footwork there by Bobby and Richards is covering 1st the way you want to see all SOX pitchers covering 1st.
  21. Looks like Richards returns for the 9th.
  22. Rangers providing no challenge to the Yankems. Texas is almost as terrible as the O's. It's damn close.
  23. Where the hell was Bobby Dee going? Good play by Richards. Who's going to close? Richards or Ottavino?
