  1. I'm guessing little league.
  2. Gee, MAX, I hope you're being paid for being Cora's PR man.
  3. I believe VAZ on the bench is giving SOX batters bad info on Lowther's stuff. So VAZ is even hurting the SOX on the bench.
  4. No team could face a bigger clown on the mound than Lowther and look as bad as this SOX conglomerate.
  5. When they're doing the game, fine. For the last inning and a half they're talking about the future of the O's s*** franchise and ignoring the game.
  6. Just found the mute button.
  7. Getting the O's feed. Watching the SOX offense? is bad enough, but listening to the horse s*** in the booth makes it all vomit inducing.
  8. N.Eovaldi (RH) 10-9 3.88ERA vs Z.Lowther (LH) 1-2 7.66ERA Kike Renfroe Devers Bogey JD Dalbec Plawecki Dugo Iggy No Schwarber, but I'm sure Cora knows what he's doing. Yup. SOX luckily still control their own fortunes. Go SOX!
  9. I would also go with 2.
  10. Just for shites and giggles here are two scenarios. Pick the one you dislike the least: 1)The SOX make the play-in and JD doesn't opt out. 2)The SOX don't make the play-in and JD does opt out.
  11. Looks like the SOX are suffering from Yankem abuse.
  12. Not too much hit since Wednesday.
  13. I hope being 100% wrong.
  14. "Come playoff time" is also assuming and may not be so.
  15. That's fine because I don't follow any of those leagues or associations.
  16. It's all in how one defines MVP. I've stated my case and I'm pretty sure my solution will not be adopted by MLB.
  17. I believe our own Bobby Dee will be in the top 4 or 5.
  18. Good pick. I also like Mountcastle of the O's.
  19. This being said, I would give Ohtani my non-existent Player of the Year award.
  20. Wander Franco has reached base now in 41 straight games which will probably garner him the ROY. Who holds the record for reaching base in straight games? Yup, Teddy Ballgame. 84 straight games. Who has the second most? Yup, Teddy Ballgame. 74 straight games.
  21. I agree 100%. Although I can respect what Ohtani has done this season, simply amazing, but again I would vote for the player on the contending team, which means I would vote for Vlad.
  22. I'm pretty sure the chUMPIRE union won't accept this w/o a fight. Their whole existence is to protect their members, no matter how much proof is presented that they've not performed at a high level. By accepting robo umps, they're pretty much admitting the incompetence.
  23. True. I just don't agree with it. With or w/o Ohtani the Angels don't contend for the PO's. Does Toronto contend w/o Vlad? I think you get my point.
  24. To change the subject, the MLB network is discussing who should win the MVP award. Ohtani is the front runner, but should he be considered because he plays on a non-contending team? I've always felt that the MVP award should go to a player who is on a contending team. There really is a simple solution to this problem. MLB has no problem coming up with awards for just about every aspect of the game. So, just create a 'player of the year' award. It would be possible in certain years that the same player could win both MVP and Player of the Year.
