  1. Those days are over, unfortunately. Same as players not kibitzing with the opposition.
  2. No panic, the game ain't over yet, but our BP does give me some concern going further into this series. But I believe we were all aware of that.
  3. You may be right, but I seriously doubt that they're better today. I will admit though that William Bendix was the worst chUMP I ever saw in the movie KILL THE UMPIRE.
  4. I remember hearing Bobby Doerr once say that if a chUMP called a strike on Ted Williams, Ted would turn his neck and look at the chUMP and the chUMP would know he made the wrong call. In today's game, Ted would get whiplash.
  5. One thing I did learn watching a few NL PO games; if I'm a pitcher, I'd rather pitch to those NL teams than pitch to either the SOX or the Astros. Just my opinion.
  6. I don't believe inside and outside pitches are defined by the human body.
  7. Relievers are like a box of chocolate; one never knows what you're gonna get.
  8. I just got a call from Bloom. Wanted to know if I was interested. I responded by asking what my food allowance would be.
  9. MAX, why do you keep defending inept chUMPIRES? Are you just playing the devil's advocate?
  10. HP chUMP has had a problem seeing a lot of things. I wonder if being legally blind excludes one from being a major league chUMP?
  11. He's out, but it was a successful bunt.
  12. All others pay Kevin Cash.
  13. I'll have what he's having.
  14. It's not a web gem when the fielder tries to make it into one.
  15. There's no repercussions when chUMPS stink up the place, so why should they even make an effort to improve?
  16. Not the exception to the rule; it appears to be the rule.
  17. In the movie MAJOR LEAGUE, Bob Uecker said "slightly outside." In this game Uecker would say "slightly outside; hold it, the chUMP called it a strike."
  18. F'ing chUMP. Foul one off the chUMP's mask; maybe he'll get his vision back.
  19. He has been solid defensively.
  20. Be really nice if the SOX could have baserunners when Kike bats.
  21. I agree and have also posted it more than once.
  22. For both pitchers and batters.
