Pivetta gets a pass; he's been solid most of the season. Added pressure on Pivetta tonight because there's a rookie pitching tomorrow, so that probably didn't make his job much easier.

The Cora rest days used to be one player at a time. Lately he's been 'resting' two players at a time. Is this how a manager gives his team the best shot at winning? But then I'm not a baseball genius like manager Cora.

Offense? is still anemic. Had both of us fooled after the 1st inning.

Story is strictly a guess hitter. If he guesses curves or change-ups correctly, he usually makes good contact. When he guesses fastball correctly, he usually can't catch up to it.

Good to see Bobby get a hit, but that hanging pitch should have been hit into the Monster seats.

Springs has two pitches. A mediocre fast ball and a change-up. Seems like a SOX batter could guess and have a good chance of being right.

I was very impressed with Kutter's stuff yesterday. Let's see how he looks in his next start, but he definitely has a good assortment of pitches.

SOX anemic offense of late is due to score some crooked numbers. HOPEFULLY.

Kutter was the star today. He had a great feel for all his pitches and had the Rays completely off balance. Schrieber continues to be amazing. Great win!
